Course Description: This session of the summer institute is designed for beginning government and politics teachers. We will thoroughly cover all six areas of the course as well as practice scoring AP US Government Exams. This will be particularly beneficial for AP History teachers’ transition to AP Government as the free response section is scored entirely different. If possible guest speakers will be utilized. This will serve as an idea exchange with teachers mentoring each other. Also covered will be test item design and construction.
