Collins College of Business

Two-Plus-Two Program
Three students from the China University of Petroleum, Beijing, recently joined the Collins College of Business as part of a "two-plus-two" program. The students have completed two years at CUPB and now will complete two years at TU. In turn, they will earn two degrees.
Chenchao Yun, Zheng Zhang, and Yingshu Liu will earn Finance degrees from the Collins College of Business during their time here. This is the students' first trips to the United States. "I am looking forward to my life here in the next two years. Everything here is as beautiful as a picture," Zheng Zhang says about the TU campus. Chenchao Yun describes people from Tulsa as "very friendly." Tulsa is a very clear and quiet city. I like it here very much," said Yingshu Liu.
In total, twelve students, eleven undergraduate and one graduate, were picked and invited based on their grades and an interview conducted by Dr. J. Markham Collins, Associate Dean for Academic Programs, Dr. Cheryl Matherly, Associate Dean and Director of the Center for Global Education, and Dr. Holden Zhang, Assistant Professor of Petroleum Engineering. The other nine students are studying Petroleum Engineering.
