The Boesche Legal Clinic functions much like a real law firm. Second- and third-year students work directly with faculty, representing real clients with real legal issues.
CILC promotes the University-wide emphasis on globalization through activities that relate to the teaching of law in an international context.

TU is also in the heart of the Muscogee Creek Nation, and NALC offers a specialized library collection in Indian and indigenous law, fulltime professors who are experts in Indian law, a Certificate in Native American Law, and many other assets.
- The Gilcrease Museum, managed by TU, is a nationally renowned museum of Native American art and artifacts and provides academic opportunities and internships.
The city of Tulsa has been called the nation's "oil capital," so today's energy challenges position TU at the forefront. A center of discussion is TU Law's Sustainable Energy and Resources Law Program, an interdisciplinary organization promoting and engaging in research involving energy, natural resources, and the environment.
