Class of 2014 - Accounting, minor in Management Information Systems (MIS)
I will never forget my first week at the Collins College of Business. Originally, I transferred into TU as a mathematics major located in Keplinger Hall. Despite my passing grades and love for math, I still didn't feel at home in Keplinger. So one day I came by Helmerich Hall and talked to the faculty advisors, professors and students. After much thought I switched major and my new home became the Collins College of Business. To this day, that switch was the best decision I have ever made.
After one semester as a business student I can say I learned a lot, not only from my advisors, but also from my faculty. Everyone is so eager to help and show you new things. Ms. Caroline Fox in the Business Career Center connected me with many job opportunities, seminars and skills. The opportunities here at the business college are endless from social networking to getting help on your resume.
All in all, I'm proud to be a Collins College of Business student. The Business Career Center office has helped me expand my eloquence, communication skills and documentation skills. If you're thinking about joining our team here at the Collins College of Business, I promise you won't regret it. GO HURRICANES!!
