Join Nimrod International Journal for an all-day writing conference with workshops in fiction, poetry, memoir, steampunk, writing queries and synopses for literary agents, and more. The day also includes one-on-one editing sessions with the Nimrod board of editors, readings, and panel discussions. Key guests include fiction writers Gish Jen, author of World and Town, and Pam Houston, author of Cowboys Are My Weakness; poets Philip Levine, current U.S. Poet Laureate and author of The Simple Truth, and Katie Kingston, author of Translating Clouds; steampunk writer Gail Carriger, author of Soulless; memoirist Mira Bartok, author of The Memory Palace; and over thirty other writers and editors.
