Faculty Writing Workshop: Becoming a Public Scholar
Friday, March 08, 2013 from 03:00 PM to 04:30 PM
Basic nonfiction writing techniques can transform our academic work into an editorial, a personal essay, a magazine article or a general interest book.
In this workshop we identify and practice simple, effective techniques (using your scholarly projects) that will make academic ideas accessible to a wider audience.
Date: Friday, March 8, 2013
Time: 3:00p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Location: The Garret (McFarlin 5100)
Hosted by the Faculty Writing Program.
These interactive sessions address ways to make academic writing more enjoyable and productive. Dr. Joli Jensen, TU’s inaugural Henneke Writing Fellow, will lead.
