TU Launches New Web Site

Monday, March 16, 2009

The University of Tulsa is excited to announce the launch its new Web site.

Today’s launch marks a significant milestone for this project, which has utilized the talent of students, faculty and staff from across campus. More than just a redesign, the new TU Web site has been built from the ground up following a completely new architecture to aid in site navigation. Additionally, the site has the ability to feature the people, programs and facilities that make TU unique.

We encourage you to take some time to explore the site for yourself and browse the new features and content.

While we have taken appropriate steps to transition from the old site to the new Web site, there remains a possibility that unforeseen issues might arise. Therefore, we ask you to notify us if you see any problems or errors. These issues may be reported at the Web form located at www.utulsa.edu/error. (Users may also report errors to web-communications@utulsa.edu.) Please be as specific as possible with your description, as this will help us address these problems more quickly.

Developing and implementing this new Web site has been a major undertaking by a many members of the TU family. While today’s launch represents a significant accomplishment, this marks the completion of Phase I of our Web development plans.

Members of TU's Web communications team will be working to bring more of the University enterprise into the new design during the coming months. You can learn more about the Web development process by visiting this link: www.utulsa.edu/web-communications
