United Way Day of Caring breakfast moved to Reynolds Center

Thursday, September 10, 2009

Tulsa Area United Way’s Day of Caring kickoff celebration will start at 6:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11 at the Reynolds Center. The celebration was moved into the arena due to recent rains.

A pancake breakfast will be served on the concourse of the Reynolds Center, followed by a program at 7:30 a.m. Volunteers will be dismissed at approximately 8:15 a.m. to work at locations throughout the Tulsa area. About 1,000 visitors are expected to be on campus for the event and will park in lots adjacent to the Reynolds Center.

TU students and employees who are volunteering as part of Day of Caring activities are welcome to join the breakfast, but an RSVP is requested. RSVPs may be given online by visiting the Tulsa Area United Way Web site at www.tauw.org and following the links from its home page.

The University of Tulsa is proud to support the Tulsa Area United Way by hosting the event and providing breakfast. For more information on Day of Caring activities, visit the United Way Web site at www.tauw.org.
