Forbes ranks TU as top university in Oklahoma

The University of Tulsa has been named one of America's best colleges according to the Forbes list, Top Colleges in the U.S.

Forbes and its partner, the Washington, D.C.-based Center for College Affordability and Productivity (CCAP), ranked TU 152 out of 650 state and private schools, including major research institutions and small liberal arts colleges.

With a focus on student return on investment, Forbes and CCAP compiled the list using 12 factors such as student satisfaction, post-graduate success, student debt and nationally competitive awards. Forbes also ranked TU 114th among private colleges, 77th among research universities and 28th in the Southern region.

TU is the highest ranked university in Oklahoma preceding the University of Oklahoma (182) and Oklahoma State University (240).
