Tulsa Regional Chamber diversity business council recognizes TU working environment
The University of Tulsa has received a Mosaic Top 20 Award in recognition of its diverse and inclusive business climate. The award was given to Tulsa’s top 20 employers whose practices demonstrate that they value diversity and emphasize it in their company’s culture.
The award was established by the Tulsa Regional Chamber’s diversity business council, Mosaic, in 2010. The council’s mission is to educate, lead and influence businesses on creating diverse and inclusive workforce cultures to enhance their competitive advantage. Mosaic seeks to leverage the region’s diversity to improve perceptions of the Tulsa community and grow the economy.
“TU is honored to accept an award that acknowledges our welcoming and motivating environment for all members of the TU faculty and staff,” said Wayne Paulison, associate vice president of human resources and risk management.
