TU’s Ad Program wins awards at NSAC district competition

The University of Tulsa Ad Program placed first in the Best Promotion category in its district on Thursday, April 17, 2014, in the National Student Advertising Competition. TU students Carolyn Yoder and Oriana Anderson were awarded second and third place, respectively, in the Best Presenter category among the 20 universities competing at the district level.

The NSAC requires American Advertising Federation college chapters to develop a 26-page marketing campaign and 20-minute presentation in response to a real-world case study co-authored by the sponsoring brand and the AAF Academic Division. The case study this year focused on expanding the footprint of the Mary Kay brand to the 18- to 25-year-old female demographic with the launch of products designed specifically for this age group.
