TU campus closed Monday
Sunday, March 02, 2014
The University of Tulsa has made the decision to close campus Monday because of inclement weather conditions.
During this closure, classes are canceled and university offices will be closed. Essential service personnel are asked to check with their supervisors about work schedules during the closure.
TU dining services will remain open for campus residents. The Collins Fitness Center is scheduled to open at 10 a.m. for any days that classes are canceled due to weather. McFarlin Library is scheduled to open at 9 a.m. Monday.
University officials will continue to monitor the weather conditions and will send out additional communications, as needed, in the following ways:
At all times, the university encourages faculty, staff and students to exercise caution when traveling to and from campus, especially when road conditions have deteriorated. Physical plant employees will be clearing and treating streets and sidewalks, but caution is urged when traveling on campus during icy conditions.
Additional information will be communicated as necessary.
