Layman joined the TU staff in 2005 as department assistant to Alumni Relations. She became the department assistant for Men’s Basketball in September 2006, a position she held until joining the President’s team in December 2012. Today she manages the operations of the President’s Office, including the President’s schedule. She has extensive experience as an executive assistant.

Johnson came to TU in 1992 as administrative assistant to the vice president for business and finance. Prior to TU, she was system administrator for the corporate law firm, Robinson, Lewis, Orbison, Smith & Coyle (now known as Riggs, Abney) for seven years. There she was responsible for managing the daily operations of the word processing system for 15 corporate attorneys and their legal assistants. Johnson is a TU alumna.
