Yellow Ribbon Program

About the Yellow Ribbon Program at TU

Admitted applicants who have served at least 36 months of active duty can apply for the Yellow Ribbon Program at TU. Benefits are on a first-come, first-served basis for a limited number of admitted applicants or current TU student-veterans. Funds will be available after August 1, 2009.

Veterans who have served an aggregate period of 90 days, but less than 36 months of active duty, also may apply to receive a percentage of payable benefits under the Post-9/11 GI Bill.

Qualified veterans will receive 100 percent paid tuition. In addition to tuition, qualified student-veterans benefit from a housing allowance that can be used for on-campus or off-campus housing and up to $1,000 a year for books and supplies.

The Yellow Ribbon Program at TU is an extension of the Post-9/11 GI Bill.
