Admission and Scholarship Information

Students interested in the Honors Program must submit a separate Honors Program application to the Honors Program office.

Students who test in the 95th percentile on national collegiate entrance exams (ACT or SAT), have a high school grade point average of at least 3.5, and/or are in the top 10 percent of their graduating classes are candidates for admission to the Honors Program. Applications are accepted at any time, but early applicants are given priority. The Honors Program admissions committee will accept, waitlist, or deny applications as they are received and until the class is filled. The committee meets weekly starting February 15.

The Honors Program application may be printed and returned to Honors Program, The University of Tulsa, McFarlin Library, Room 5130, 800 South Tucker Drive, Tulsa, OK 74104-9700. A brochure and application can be mailed to you by contacting Denise Dutton at (918) 631-2122 or denise-dutton@utulsa.edu.

An Honors Program scholarship is given annually to each participant. For more information about the Honors Program scholarship, contact the University of Tulsa financial aid office at (918) 631-2526.
