BIOL 6444 - Advanced Molecular Biology
Extends the basics of molecular biology, including DNA structure, chromosome structure, regulation of transcription, and translation. Examines the Central Dogma of Biology (DNA to RNA to protein) using lecture, reading and interpretation of primary literature, and laboratory experiments, Lecture three hours per week, laboratory three hours per week. Prerequisites; Biology core courses (or equivalent).
