CHEM 7173
CHEM 7173 - Chemical Kinetics
A detailed presentation of chemical kinetics including methods of measuring reaction rates, the importance of elementary reactions, theories of bimolecular reactions and reaction dynamics. Both gas phase and solution phase kinetics are presented. Chain reactions, heterogeneous reactions, and multi-step mechanisms will be explored. Prerequisite: consent of instructor.
