The personal learning experience in electrical engineering is centered in Keplinger Hall, the $15 million, 136,000-square-foot home of the College of Engineering and Natural Sciences. Keplinger fosters a sense of community among the various math and science disciplines. Electrical engineering students can expect their studies to be enhanced by the following:

  1. A state-of-the-art optical networking laboratory with equipment capable of transmitting and analyzing data communications up to 10 billion bits per second over electrical and fiber-optic cable
  2. Laboratories that include computer-driven instrumentation, hands-on robots, a.c. power systems, radar, and lasers
  3. Integrated laboratory and educational classrooms for applying theories and concepts as they are learned.
