Gphy 6403 - Petroleum Seismology

Detailed study of the theory and application of geophysical methods for petroleum and mineral exploration. Emphasis on recent advances in seismic, gravity, and magnetic techniques. Includes a laboratory to learn to solve exploration problems in gravity, magnetic, and seismic exploration. Prerequisites: Gphy 2053, Math 2024.
