Master of Business Administration (MBA)
The Master of Business Administration provides the comprehensive, balanced preparation needed for managerial and executive success in the private and public sectors. Our students develop leadership, operational, financial and strategic expertise in an environment that emphasizes practical application, communication skills and a multidisciplinary approach.*
Master of Science in Finance (MSF)
The Master of Science in Finance program prepares students for careers in a range of specialized areas, including: corporate finance, investments and portfolio management and risk management in 36 credit hours of study. This program delivers in-depth study of the sophisticated analytical techniques and market transactions that drive financial innovation. Students participate in controlled financial scenarios using electronic stock ticker boards, computers, Bloomberg terminals and extensive financial data-bases. *
* MBA and MSF curriculums are also offered jointly as a dual program. Students in the MBA/MSF program earn two independent degrees.
Master of Science in Finance and Master of Science in Applied Mathematics (MSF/MSAM)
Contemporary finance, risk management and financial engineering are ideal environments for the integration of applied mathematics and finance. Our MSF/MSAM program capitalizes on this environment by combining an in-depth study of financial theory and application with a study of advanced applied mathematics. Graduates earn two independent degrees in 56 total credit hours of study. They glean a level of understanding of both finance and mathematics that will give them a competitive edge and prepare them to work on the very frontiers of finance.
Dual Juris Doctor (JD) Programs JD/MBA • JD/MSF • JD/MTAX
The Collins College of Business Graduate Programs and the College of Law jointly offer three dual Juris Doctor and Graduate Business programs. Students in our JD/MBA, JD/MSF and JD/MTAX programs are enrolled in both the College of Law and the Collins College of Business. Graduates earn two independent degrees in a program that combines credit hours, reducing program length.
Master of Taxation – Online (MTAX)
The Master of Taxation program provides advanced understanding of tax issues, strategies and methods through a flexible 30 credit hour program that can be completed in as little as 18 months of part-time online study. This program is appropriate for both current and prospective tax practitioners.
