Electives (6 Hours)
Students must complete 6 hours of business-related elective study.
Experiential Requirement (1 Hour)
A Corporate Experiential Requirement is completed as an internship or Study Abroad. This requirement may be waived with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Law Component (78 Hours)
Students in the joint program complete all requirements for the Juris Doctor. Students complete 78 hours of law courses, and 10 hours of business courses count as JD program electives.
The University of Tulsa College of Law features four special centers: the Center for Comparative and International Law, the Center for Dispute Resolution, the National Energy-Environment Law and Policy Institute and the Native American Law Center.
The College offers many opportunities for specialization with seven Certificate programs, including: Native American Law, Health Law, Public Policy, Lawyering Skills, Comparative and International Law, Resources, Energy, and Environmental Law and Entrepreneurial Law.
