Programs of Study

Finance Undergraduate Program

The Finance and Operations Management Department offers both a major and a minor in finance. In addition, students can concentrate in three areas of finance: corporate finance, investments and portfolio management, and financial institutions. The finance curriculum emphasizes the fundamental aspects of finance, economics, quantitative methods, and information technology that provide the technical skills necessary for our graduates to be successful in an increasingly complex financial world. To even further expand their education students may declare a second major or a minor in an area in Business Administration or any other academic program area on campus.

Finance students with an interest in international business may complement their studies with an International Business minor, the University’s Summer Study Abroad Program, or a semester or yearlong study aboard or exchange program. The Department is an active participant in international programs including the University of Seigen and the University of Zurich.
