New Graduate Student Orientation

All new graduate students are invited to attend the Graduate School's New Student Orientation Program on August 19, 2009

An orientation program for new graduate students will be offered on Wednesday, August 19, 2009. This event gives new graduate students an opportunity to meet university administrators, fellow graduate students in a variety of academic disciplines, and get some valuable information pertaining to university harassment and research integrity policies. 

 

Students that attended TU for their undergraduate degrees are still encouraged to attend the orientation program.  Information will be provided to that only applies to graduate students and was not originally available or covered at the undergraduate level.  

 

Particular attention will be paid to explaining the transitional issues students encounter from an undergraduate program to a graduate program in regards to plagiarism, research integrity, and harassment.  Additional agenda and registration information will be forwarded the beginning of June 2009.
