How Darwin revolutionized science

TU hosts symposium on the impact Darwin had on all aspects of scientific thought at 1:20 p.m. March 31 in the Allen Chapman Activity Center.

Seven Oklahoma scientists will discuss the impact that Charles Darwin has had on all aspects of scientific thought in a free symposium, March 31, 2009 on The University of Tulsa campus.

Panel members are Stanley Rice from Southeastern Oklahoma State University; Richard Broughton, J. Phil Gibson, and Vic Hutchison from the University of Oklahoma; and Peggy Hill, Jim Derby, and Valerie O’Brien from TU.

The symposium, which begins at 1:20 p.m., in the Gallery Room of the Allen Chapman Activity Center, includes time for questions and discussions. It is free and open to the public.
