The TU Graduate School will offer orientation programming for new graduate students.

Fall 2011 New Graduate Student Orientation

All new graduate students are expected to attend the fall New Graduate Student Orientation Program. This program gives new graduate students an introduction to key campus administrators and allows new students to meet fellow new students from a variety of academic disciplines. Three required workshops on "Harassment," "Research Integrity," and "Plagiarism" are also offered during the morning portion of the orientation program.

The program includes lunch and afternoon sessions to introduce new students to a variety of campus services and resources. International students also have a required afternoon session.

Managing Your Graduate Assistantship
An Orientation Program for New Graduate Assistants

All new graduate students on a teaching/research/administrative assistantship are expected to attend this Orientation program. The program will review terms and expectations for your assistantship, help you learn some hints for dealing with situations you may encounter in your assistantship, and discuss payroll procedures.

Following the workshop, lunch will be served and your assistantship surpervisor will be present to answer any specific questions you might have.
