ANTH 6413 - Introduction to Museum Work

Introduces students to museums as organizations and examines career opportunities across the range of museum disciplines, with particular focus on art, history, and anthropology settings. Museum mission statements, staffing, governance, collections, exhibitions, conservation, registration, community relations, fundraising and other issues central to museum work are examined.
