ANTH 4083 - Introduction to Museum Work
Introduces students to museums as organizations and examines career opportunities across the range of museum disciplines, with a particular focus on art, history, and anthropology settings. Museum mission statements, staffing, governance, collections, exhibitions, conservation, registration, community relations, fundraising and other issues central to museum work are examined. Prerequisite: Anth 2043, 2053 or permission of instructor.
