ENGL 4173 - The Jewish Experience in Film

Explores the varieties of representations of the Jewish people in feature-length, major-release narrative films, both American and international. A range of social issues will be addressed, including: immigration, assimilation, internal and external conflict, anti-Semitism, the Holocaust, and contemporary experiences.
