HIST 2723 - Politics and Religion in Early Europe

Political, religious, and social developments in Europe from the fall of the western Roman Empire to the Thirty Years’ War. Important themes include the rise of the state, conflict within the Christian church, rivalry between Church and State, and relations between religious groups.
