HIST 3733 - History of Popular Culture in Greater Mexico
Seminar using selected popular-culture subjects (such as food, sports, the visual arts, comic books, and music) to study late 19th and 20th century Mexico and the US-Mexico borderlands. Particular attention paid to ways in which these cultural expressions reflect and are influenced by various social, political, and economic issues.
