Fr 4113 - Topics in Francophone Literary and Cultural Studies

Exploration of Black (African/Caribbean), Maghreban/ Near Eastern, European (Belgian, French, Swiss), or Canadian Francophone world. Cultural and literary accomplishments, social institutions, and ideologies of French-speaking peoples explored through texts, slides, historical documents, newspapers, advertisements, film clips, television, or radio. Course may be repeated for credit with different topics. Prerequisite: Fr 3023 and Fr 3033 or its equivalent, or permission of instructor.
