I came to the University of Tulsa from S. Korea where I had been teaching at Keimyung University and writing poetry and nonfiction. Prior to that, I was living in Richmond VA, teaching writing and dance at University of Richmond and working as a journalist for a local newspaper.

My two passions are writing and dancing. As a college student, a professor told me I couldn’t study both forms. Going against the advice, I pursued both forms and over the years have found out how well these languages complement each other. When I’m not too busy, a bicycle ride, a good cup of coffee, or a science fiction movie keep me occupied.
