SOC 4593 - Internship

Ten to twelve hours per week of observation and work in a social service, educational, or governmental organization, as well as academic analysis of that experience and organization. Supervision by a professional in that organization and a TU faculty member. Requires student initiative, maturity, responsibility, and professionalism. Prerequisite: Soc 1033 plus nine hours of sociology course work at TU.
