Jessica Vokoun has performed from coast to coast with various modern dance companies: Li Chiao Ping Dance, Kanopy Dance Company, and Daniel Gwirtzman Dance Company. She has also performed internationally with the "new genre" dance company NC5, of Tulsa, OK. She has studied with David Dorfman, Lisa Race, Nicholas Leichter, Bill Young, Chris Aiken, Chuck Davis, and Bebe Miller. Ms. Vokoun has choreographed, performed, and taught for the Harwelden Institute for Arts in Education, of Tulsa, OK. As a video artist, she has worked with Alexandra Beller (NYC), Liz Lerman Dance Exchange (Takoma Park, MD), Tulsa Ballet, and Ko-Thi Dance Company (Milwaukee, WI). She has curated dance-film programs for the Wisconsin Film Festival (2008), and Tulsa’s Dance on Camera Festival (2007, 2008).
