THEA 2203 - Voice and Movement for the Stage I
Theories of voice and body movement in performance. Includes work on vocal support and placement by freeing and neutralizing poor vocal and physical habits, establishing a warm-up regimen, gaining control over the elements of movement analysis, and exploring self-analysis and imagination as foundations of character development. Prerequisite: Thea 2333. Musical Theatre and Theatre majors and minors will have priority placement in these classes.
