Tenure-Track Position in Analytical or Bioanalytical Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at The University of Tulsa invites applications for a tenure-track position in Analytical chemistry beginning August 2014. A Ph.D. in Chemistry is required and postdoctoral experience is preferred.  The Department is seeking candidates who can build upon our nationally recognized undergraduate research program and contribute to the strengths of our Ph.D. program.  The candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate coursework in Analytical Chemistry.  The Department offers a friendly and cooperative research atmosphere that promotes collaboration and provides state-of-the-art research opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate students.  Candidates with expertise in Bioanalytical chemistry are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants may submit a hard copy or e-mail copy of their completed application including a vita, undergraduate and graduate transcripts, a statement of research plans, teaching philosophy and three letters of recommendation to the attention of Dr. Kenneth Roberts, Search Committee Chair, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, The University of Tulsa, 800 S.
