The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers a curriculum leading to the B.S. degree which includes a strong foundation in the electrical, system, computer, mathematical, and physical sciences.
The mission of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is to provide a modern, high quality educational experience for all our students. We provide the knowledge and principles on which electrical engineering is founded in order to graduate engineers who are technically competent, creative, and articulate.
The primary objective for the Electrical and Computer Engineering department is to prepare graduates to engage successfully in the practice of electrical and computer engineering by obtaining employment or admission to graduate school.
Based on both the mission statement and the primary objective of the department, the Electrical and Computer Engineering Program Educational Objectives are to provide graduates with:
