Geoscience students receive grants

Grants are linked to research projects
Congratulations to Jessica Little, Yang Li, and Ming Liu. Little and Li received student research grants from the Graduate School, and Liu received a travel grant.
Little's research project is titled "Linking Source to Reservoir Using Hydrous Pyrolysis and Diagnostic Organic Sulfur Biomarker Signatures in the Austin Chalk."
Li's research project is titled "Trace Metals as proxies for the Paleoenvironmental Conditions During the Deposition of the Late Devonian Antrim Shale (Michigan Basin, USA)."
Liu received a travel grant to present her thesis research at the upcoming fall AGU meeting in San Francisco.
Congratulations also to their advisers, Dr. Michael Formolo and Dr. Kumar Ramachandran.
