Physics Professor Wins Research Award

Dr. Sanwu Wang, Associate Professor of Physics, has been awarded the 2012 College of Engineering and Natural Sciences' Zelimir Schmidt Award for Outstanding Research for his work in materials simulation and condensed matter theory.  Details concerning Dr. Wang's research can be found on his web site at

This is the second time in the last three years that a physics faculty member has won the college's outstanding research award.  The 2010 award recipient was Dr. Dylan Brennan, Associate Professor of Physics.
