Our Faculty and Staff

The mathematics faculty are committed to excellence in teaching at all levels and to excellence in research, specializing in classical analysis, applied analysis, numerical analysis, mathematical biology, and statistics. The Department hosts the Center for Boundary Integral Methods  developing the theory and applications necessary to solve historically difficult boundary value problems. Department faculty are also active members of the Institute for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology applying mathematics and statistics to the solution of problems in biology and neuroimaging.
