Ed Behm received his BS in petroleum engineering from The University of Tulsa in 1980. He has 29 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, 28 of them with Oxy. Ed is currently Asset Development Manager with Vintage Production of California, a wholly owned subsidiary of Occidental Petroleum Corporation. He has spent his career mostly in mature oil field redevelopment and improved oil recovery applications in the US and overseas. In addition to operating area assignments, he was a director in the Oxy corporate financial planning and analysis department. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and was a director of the Permian Basin and San Joaquin Valley sections. He has been a member of the Permian Basin Petroleum Association and was General Chairman of the 1998 PBOGRC (Permian Basin Oil and Gas Recovery Conference). Ed also served on the executive committee of CIPA (California Independent Petroleum Association). Ed is also a Professional Petroleum Engineer registered in California.

Ed is pictured with his wife of 27 years, Lisa Bahn Behm (BS Tulsa 1982), and daughter, Rita Behm (BS PE Tulsa 2009). Ed and Lisa live in Bakersfield, California and have four children, Eddie, Rita, Mary, and David.
