TU Students Place at AADE Student Competition

TU graduate students Bahri Kutlu and Zhaoyang Wang placed 1st and 3rd, respectively, in the University Student Competition for Graduate Research Posters at the 2013 American Association of Drilling Engineers (AADE) Drilling Fluids Technical Conference and Exhibition, February 26-27, 2013 in Oklahoma City.
Bahri, a Ph.D. student and Research Assistant for TU's Drilling Research Projects (TUDRP), received a B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran (2009) and a M.Eng. in Oil & Gas Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland, St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada (2011). His current research interest is drill bits.
Zhaoyang, a M.S. student, is also a Research Assistant for TUDRP. He received a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from China University of Petroleum in 2011. Zhaoyang's current resear interest is drilling automation.
