Professor joins elite group of artificial intelligence experts
University of Tulsa Professor of Computer Science Sandip Sen has been awarded senior member status in the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI). Sen joins an elite group of researchers from around the world who are recognized each year for their significant achievements and contributions to the field of artificial intelligence and for their service to AAAI.
AAAI is a nonprofit scientific society devoted to advancing the scientific understanding of mechanisms underlying thought and intelligent behavior as well as their embodiment in machines.
Sen joined TU’s Tandy School of Computer Science in 1993. He has served as a member of the AAAI for nearly 20 years and has dedicated much of his career research to artificial intelligence projects.
“I am delighted and honored by the recognition, and I look forward to serving key roles in AAAI and related conferences while contributing to the field with my research and service,” Sen said.
