TU College of Law Student Receives National Scholarship

Lindsey Albers, The University of Tulsa College of Law, and Maclain Wells, University of Colorado School of Law, were the recipients of the 2001 George Kerr Memorial Scholarship presented annually by the American Counsel Association.
The $2,500 scholarship is given to incoming third year law students who demonstrate academic merit and financial need.
The award is given in memory of the past president of the American Counsel Association, George Kerr, who was most involved in the organizations spirit of nurturing law students and academic endeavors.
The American Counsel Association is a national organization of law firms. One of the purposes of the organization is to assist financially needy and academically qualified students with scholarships.
