Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner to Address Women in Law at TU April 19

Denise Bode, who was the first woman president of the Independent Petroleum Association in Washington, D.C., and who is currently only the second woman to serve as Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner, will address the annual Women In Law luncheon on Friday, April 19.
The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the Allen Chapman Activity Center, Fifth Place and Gary Avenue, at The University of Tulsa.
Bode is an Oklahoma native and a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, George Mason University and Georgetown University. She is a nationally recognized expert on energy, served as legal counsel for then-U.S. Sen. David Boren, was the first female staffer to sit on the Senate Finance Committee, and was a member of President George Bush’s energy transition team.
