TU and Williams to Host Antitrust Symposium March 22

Antitrust litigation and mergers in the energy industry are among the topics to be covered when The University of Tulsa College of Law and The Williams Companies present “A Day with the Experts – An Antitrust Symposium.”
The event is scheduled for Friday, March 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Williams Theatre, One Williams Center, in Tulsa. Nationally recognized attorneys will discuss trends and developments in intellectual property, price fixing and price discrimination. Enforcement activities will be addressed by Alan Pason, Dallas field office chief for the antitrust division of the U.S. Department of Justice.
Presenters will include David A. Balto with White and Case in Washington, D.C.; M. Elaine Johnston, White and Case, New York; Tom D. Smith, with Jones, Day, Reavis and Pogue, Washington, D.C.; Eric S. Eissenstat, Fellers, Snider, Blankenship, Bailey and Tippens, Oklahoma City; and D. Kent Meyers with Crowe and Dunlevy, Oklahoma City. Moderator will be Tracy Poole, senior attorney with the Williams Companies.
