Every market analyst, pundit and expert has given an opinion on the corporate giant’s recent business upheaval and stock downturn, but on Friday, Sept. 20, William Hobbs, president and CEO of Williams Energy Marketing & Trading, will discuss the company position at a luncheon forum. The event is sponsored by NELPI, the National Energy-Environment Law & Policy Institute of The University of Tulsa College of Law.

The meeting begins at 11:30 a.m. at The Summit, 31st floor, 15 W Sixth Street, and is co-sponsored by the International Society of Energy Advocates and Tulsa Global Alliance.

“We have all watched the Williams saga with dismay,” said R. Dobie Langenkamp, NELPI director. “This forum will give friends of Williams in Tulsa and the energy community at large an opportunity to hear from the company regarding its struggle and future prospects.”

The luncheon is $15 per person. Reservations are required. RSVP by Sept. 16 to Sue Lorenz at (918) 631-5622 or slorenz@utulsa.edu
