The Tulsa chapter of the Christian Legal Society Law Student Ministries will host the group’s regional conference, “Religion and The Law Symposium,” on Friday and Saturday, March 28-29, at John Rogers Hall, 3120 E. Fourth Place, on The University of Tulsa campus.
Special guest lecturers will include Cordel Schulten, Missouri Baptist University; Mike Schutt, Regent University; and Michael Scaperlanda, University of Oklahoma College of Law. Some of the topics to be discussed are biblical foundations for procedural and substantive law, battling religious issues in the courts, using a law degree in non-traditional ways and ethical issues that confront the Christian lawyer.
Students from 10 regional law schools and five pre-law undergraduate programs have been invited. Members of the local bar and the public are also welcome to attend this free event. To make a reservation or for more information, contact Joy Lea at (918) 592-0859 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
