Team registration is now available online for the annual Chilifest Cookoff at The University of Tulsa College of Law. This year marks the first time the event includes online registration, which is available at: www.law.utulsa.edu/alumni/chilifest.
Team registration may also be submitted by phone or email to Muriel Hakim, the law school’s alumni coordinator, at (918) 631-3320 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Doors open for the event, which is being held for the first time on the arena floor of the Donald W. Reynolds Center, at 7 p.m. on April 4. There is no admission fee for those who would like to attend without competing.
“We hope that providing online registration will encourage more participation in the event,” said Chad McClain, chairman of the law school alumni association’s Chilifest committee. “Hosting the event at the Reynolds Center will provide more room than ever and we’re looking forward to a bigger and better event.”
All lawyers, judges, students and TU law school alumni are encouraged to enter their favorite chili recipe in one of four categories and compete for the coveted title of “Best Overall Chili.” The four categories are: best traditional chili, best non-traditional chili, most creative recipe and best presentation.
