Irma Russell – Professor of Law

Lectures and Addresses

Addressed the Environmental Federation of Oklahoma 17th annual meeting "Steering the Course to Environmental Success" held October 1-3, 2008. The title of her presentation was "Steering the Right Course through Developments in Carbon Policy."

Dr. Robert Spoo – Associate Professor of Law

Publications

His article, "Copyrights and ‘Design-Around’ Scholarship," was published in The James Joyce Quarterly.

Affiliations

Received the Lucia R. Briggs Distinguished Achievement Award from Lawrence University, which recognizes alumni of more than 15 years for outstanding contributions to a career field.
He was invited to serve as a member of the Modernist Studies Association Task Force on Fair Use.

Melissa Tatum – Professor of Law

Lectures and Addresses

Presented at Michigan State University's Fifth Annual Indian Law Conference on October 10-11, 2008. Tatum presented a paper entitled "January 8, 1962 – the Day the Universe Changed: Gideon, ICRA, and the Erosion of Tribal Sovereignty."
